The first one, obviously. The second one is too PShopped for my liking.

i like the shapes in the top one, but the color contrast in the second is really striking. so, number two for me.

Just on & on, this blog -- incredible photography, insightful commentary, news, gossip, politics, & wonderful goofy humor. From Lee Friedlander's road trip to the crab nebula. Wow. BTW I caught 30 secs of a cello piece by son Erik on NPR & even that little bit blew my mind; was exactly, uncannily the feeling of driving cross country at night. I bet he takes outstanding pictures too. Anyway, now I will get the CD. Thanks for the blog, Amy. Great stuff. I wish I had more time to read all this stuff.

The second photo is a gorgeous study of form, colour and texture. The roiling murky sky combined with the sharp, angular lines of the iceberg demand and reward attention. Thanks!

I like the first one, but it's too... squareish... & the second one looks like the iceberg from the movie "Titanic"... but personally... my favorite's the second one

the second one, unless that blue tone was faked. that'd make me upset.
